Silicone=R.T.V(Room Temperature Vulcanizing)

Silicone, with transparent or milky appearance, is a granular and porous silica hydrate. It is as flexible as rubber and possesses the best off-line capability. It can be made as transparent products and pigments can be added to blend it into products of different colors. Silicone needs different proportions and different curing time based on the products to be completed. It can be used only after mixing with other substances in certain proportion. Besides, it can be heated to accelerate the chemical reaction.

As temperature drops, the hardening time will be extended. Owing to blending need prior to use, and surface and inner portion can be hardening at the same time, most products are infused or packaged in use. Its heat resistance can attain 220°C ~ 280°C.

Merits: Nontoxic, tolerant to high and low temperature, tolerant to acid and alkali, waterproof, anti-UV, good in insulation, thermal conductivity, buffering and self-adhesive effect, as well as excellent in electrical characteristics.
Shortcomings: Poor in oil resistance and mechanical properties.

RTV-2 Liquid Silicone Rubber Materials

The two-compound condensation type silicone rubber is a room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber which is a hydroxyl terminated polydimethyloxane, referred to as RTV-2.

Mainly used in mold silicone, hand model design silicone, pad printing rubber, shoe mold silicone, electronic potting glue, printing pad mold silicone, handmade mold silicone and shoe insole mold silicone are mainly used for mold design and model manufacturing. Pad printing is mainly used to make pad printing heads. Potting Silicone is mainly used for insulation moisture, waterproof and fixing of electronic parts. It is widely used for potting and sealing of general electrical modules and as a sealing material for LED display screens.

RTV-3 / Addition Liquid Silicone Rubber Materials

Two-compound type molding room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber General use:
Common Addition molding silicones include human body silicone, clothing label silicone, injection molding silicone ( LSR ), and mold making silicone.

The Human Skin Silicone is mainly made of such products as sex products, human organs, human body shape, chest pad shoulder pads, patches, anti-slip mats, etc. Products with good flexibility and extensibility requirements.

Can be heated to increase the curing speed. ( Temperature from 70 – 120°C ). Can not heat to increase the curing speed.
